I Saw A Coyote Walking Down the Road

Yesterday, Marmar and I were driving home from dinner and...I saw a coyote walking down the road.

Pretty darn smackin' cool if you ask me.

I think he's coming to our neighborhood to eat all the lil' bunnies.

Yeah so that's all I got. Pretty uneventful week if ya can't tell.

YES. I know I'm Obsessed.

So...rumor has it that Dakota Fanning will be playing Jane in Twilight's NEW MOON movie. Ummmmm. SHE BETTER NOT. Don't get me wrong- Dakota Fanning is a precious doll and a great actress...but NOT for Twilight. Sure, Jane isn't a HUGE role but she's a character that means a lot. (Plus, she's pretty much supposed to be the most dangerous, bad ass little vamp of them all.) I think another problem I have with it is that it "Hollywoodizes" Twilight too much. I almost cried when I heard they were going to have Vanessa Hudgens play Leah Clearwater (that rumor turned out false THANK GOODNESS) I just feel that the Twilight cast was a perfect mixture of first-time actors who had either done nothing or very few things...and now they're going down in movie history- don't throw in a bunch of celebrities!!!! Ugh. So anyway. There's my daily Twilight rant.

Ribbit...Or Whatever Noise A Horned Frog Makes

It's official. Today I registered for Freshman Orientation and Frog Camp (TCU'S version of freshman fish camp.) I'm beyond excited and I finally feel like I really am an adult about to graduate high school and enter the next phase of my life. At orientation I'll choose my first semester schedule and check into my *dorm* for next year. I'm opting out of the tradition Ft. Worth frog camp and taking a more adventurous route with "Alpine Frog Camp" where I'll spend 5 days in the Rockies with fellow incoming freshmen camping, hiking, whitewater rafting, and being a bum around a campfire---I CANNOT WAIT!

Hi. I'm From Texas.

Say hello to our new winter Vika uniforms. Let's just say people in New Orleans didn't have to ask where we were from- it was simply "What part of Texas are you guys from?" Although we did have a few men stop and ask if we were Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders...thanks for the compliment bro....haha. Go Vikings?

New Year in New Orleans

I try not to use my blog as a rant. A lot of the time, this does not happen. BUT for the sake of my own sanity, I am taking this blog in a new direction and instead of RANTING about my trip to New Orleans with my drill team over New Years, I'm looking at the glass half full and taking this time to thank Heather, Delanee, and Katy for simply being who they are. Its cheesy I know. But rarely do you find friends who are this genuine/real/crazy/gorgeous/amazing (I can think of only 1 other and she resides in 75840) If it wasn't for these ladies I probably would have....um.... I'm at loss for a big enough hyperbole, but something extreme. So thank you girls for being so incredible, I love you times a kajillion, truly.

PS: Don't get me wrong, performing at the Sugar Bowl was too cool, I loved that part. Plus, we got to work five days with Bonnie Story, Emmy award winning choreographer of all the High School Musicals- she's a sweetheart and AMAZINGLY beyond talented.
